Work permit, visa and residence permit for Sweden
To get visa to Sweden right now
The Corona virus has temporarily stopped all traveling from countries outside of the EU to Sweden. However, there are exceptions.
From these countries you can travel to Sweden even during the current corona travel ban: Australia, Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zeeland, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay. There are also exception rules for close family members of Swedish citizens – from all countries.
I will keep you informed about when it´s meaningful to start applying for visa “normally” again from all countries.
This is Visa to Sweden
My name is Lasse Ahlberg and I run the consulting company Visa to Sweden. I help individuals and companies with applications for work permit, visa and residence permit in Sweden.
All and all I have spent several years in South East Asia and I have strong connections there, especially in Thailand. I speak, read and write thai fluently. ผมพูดอ่านและเขียนภาษาไทยได้
Work permit in Sweden
Applying for work permit in Sweden for a non EU-citizen is a complicated business. I make it easier for you as an employer to hire somebody from a non European country. I organize the whole application process and do the necessary paperwork.
I´m regularly in touch with Migrationsverket – the Swedish Migration Agency. They decide about work permits. It’s usually a long process, but there are ways to make it faster.
For instance, if the application is made in a professional way, flawless and complete, the processing time can be shortened and you can get your new coworker to Sweden faster.
Schengen visa to Sweden
Have you met somebody you really like in Thailand or other country outside of Europe? Visa to Sweden can help you to get a Schengen visitor’s visa for your friend so he or she can come and visit you in Sweden for up to 90 days.
If you live outside of Europe and don´t have an invitation from someone, you can still apply on your own for a tourist visa. The application is different, but it´s the same kind of visa – up to 90 days in Sweden and the Schengen area.
I relieve you of the trouble of making a complicated application – for a quite modest fee. I do the paperwork and guide you through the whole process. You basically just need to sign the application before you submit it.
Extended visa 180 days
If you want to prolong your stay in Sweden there is a good chance that I can help you with that. You don´t need to get out of Sweden to apply for this. It´s not the Swedish Embassy, but the Swedish Migration Board in Sweden who processes applications for extended visa.
You have the chance to get 90 days extra in Sweden with you friend – and he/she gets a so called UT-kort (Out-card) that you can use for traveling in Europe, within the Schengen area.
UT Besök – long term visa
UT besök is a kind of Swedish visa that can be issued for six months and up to one year at a time for visiting Sweden and Schengen.
The biggest difference compared to a Schengen visa is that it´s Migrationsverket – the Swedish Migration Board – and not the Swedish Embassy who review the applications and decide about visa.
Most common is to be granted six months. The downside with this kind of visa is that the waiting time is long, about 3 months.

If you want to move to somebody in Sweden I can give you advice. I can also help you to make a complete application.
